The deadline for the submittal of abstracts
February 25, 2008.
Any abstracts sent after the deadline will
not be considered.
Any abstracts sent by e-mail or postal
mail that is independent from the online
system will not be accepted..
Rules for Preparing Abstracts
- The abstract should include the purpose
of the study, methods used, a summary of
the results and conclusion reached. Abstract
should be submitted in English and should
not be less than 150 words and should not
exceed 200 words.
- In the title for abstracts, all words should
be written in bold capital letters apart
from hose words such as ph or NaCI that
have special meanings when written in small
caps and centered horizontally
- Names, surnames (without personel titles)
of the author(s) should be typed as centered
horizontally and only the initials should
be in capital letters.
- The institutional address(es) of the author(s)
should be typed as centered horizontally
and only the initials should be in capital
letters.
- The name(s) and the institutional address(es)
ot the auhtor(s) should be indicated using
superscript infront
- The name of the presenting author must be
underlined.
- The presenting author should be registered
as participant and kindly asked to send
the bank advice of the registration along
with the abstract.
- All the abstracts will be evaluated by the
Scientific Committee and will be either
accepted or rejected.
- Individually “Abstract Submission Form”must
be filled for each abstract.( institutional
address(es) must be typed clearly.
After having submitted your abstract, you
will receive a confirmation by e-mail with
the following information (please make sure
to put the correct e-mail address) ;Reference
number of your abstract (for correspondence
and questions that might arise) and your
personal user code and password.
Should you wish to make corrections to an
abstract already submitted or if you wish
to submit other abstracts later, you may
use your personal user code and password.
This will shorten the submission procedure.
Corrections to abstracts can only be
made up to the deadline of February 25,
2008.
Notification
Notification on whether the papers are accepted
will be made as of March 20, 2008. For the
purpose of facilitating communication, preliminary
acceptance/rejection notifications will
be sent via e-mail. Therefore if you have
not received written notification to your
e-mail by March 25, 2008, please check the
web site for the accepted posters list or
contact the Organizing Secretariat,Excon
Tourism.

Posters
- Posters should be setup starting on April
24,2008 at 14.00 hours and removed by April
26 ,2008 at 17.00 hours on the stand number
to be notified by the organization committee.
- Posters should be 70 cm in width and 90
cm in height and should be legible from
at least 1 meter.
- Title, name(s) and institutional address(es)
of the author(s) should be indicated at
the top of each poster.
- The posters will be displayed and taken
down between the dates indicated. The organization
committee will take down any posters still
being displayed after April 26, 2008.
- Staff will be present to help poster owners
to hang the posters.
Poster Awards
- Symposium Scientific Committee will award
3 selected poster presentations to support
and encourage scientific research and study
submission to the Symposium .
Technical Information
- The computer system that will be used in the symposium is PC.
- One LCD data projector, 1 VHS Video will be available for presentations in the meeting
rooms.
- Speakers who will use the LCD data projector should prepare their slides in a format
compatible with Microsoft Office 2000 or XP program sets. Please note that MAC
users must save their documents in PC format.
- Speakers who need extra equipment should inform the Organization Secretariat at
least 1 week before their presentations.
- All speakers must bring their slides to the slide control room at least 1 day before their
presentation.
